Booking and cancelling.
These are the terms that apply when you book Villa Celebra Bida through this site. They're the same as for the villa on Micazu and StayCuracao.
Cancellation costs
If you cancel, you pay a percentage of the travel sum. How much depends on the number of calendar days between your cancellation and the arrival date.

Booking and payment
You book directly in the calendar on this site and pay the full amount via Mollie when you book: the rental, the final cleaning (and the mid-stay cleaning if needed), 7% tourist tax and the deposit.
As soon as the payment is in, your booking is final. You'll get a confirmation email with a personal link where you can view and cancel your booking.
What's the travel sum?
The travel sum is the rental for the nights plus the cleaning costs. Tourist tax is only due if you actually stay, and the deposit is yours. You always get those two back in full when you cancel.
How to cancel
Using the link in your confirmation email, you can cancel online yourself until the day before arrival. You'll see right away what it costs and what you get back. You can also cancel by emailing us; the date we receive your email is what counts.
We refund the amount via Mollie to the account or card you paid with. It usually arrives within a few business days.

Force majeure and insurance
The cancellation costs above also apply in cases of force majeure, such as illness, travel restrictions or a flight ban. That's why we recommend cancellation insurance.
Changing dates
Want different dates? Get in touch and we'll see together what's possible. A change isn't guaranteed; if it doesn't work out, the normal cancellation terms apply.
Cancellation by us
If we have to cancel your booking for any reason, you get the full amount you paid back right away.
Deposit, water and electricity
The €500 deposit covers any damage. The remainder is refunded on the first of the month after departure. Water and electricity are billed based on usage: we photograph the meter readings at check-in and check-out, and your usage is invoiced separately afterwards.
